Kenny Omega is going through an emotional rollercoaster as his ‘belt collection’ is constantly eyed by his opponents. This Friday at the inaugural night of AEW Rampage, Omega lost his coveted Impact World Championship to Christian Cage.

Now, 24 hours removed from his heartbreaking loss, Omega had to defend his AAA Mega Championship tonight at AAA’s TripleMania XXIX against Andrade el Idolo, who did not go easy on ‘The Belt Collector’.

Andrade surprised everyone when he walked out with the ‘Nature Boy’ Ric Flair on his side. However, this didn’t stop Omega to put on a show and eventually retained his title.

Meanwhile, after a fantastic match with his AEW co-worker, Omega took to Twitter and praised Andrade for his performance tonight and said that he is a “tough guy”.

However, Omega quickly added that he didn’t like the attacks that Flair delivered to him after their match, claiming that with this little “stunt” he has made this rivalry personal.

Hey @AndradeElIdolo, I’ll admit it. You’re tough, you came close. But that stunt with @RicFlairNatrBoy? Not in 2021, and not in my ring, pal. You made it personal. Omega wrote.

Will Kenny Omega lose all his belts?

‘The Cleaner’ had a lot of eyes on him before entering tonight’s championship match against Andrade because of his loss to Christian Cage.

Cage took away his IMPACT World Championship, leaving him with the AEW World Championship, and the AAA Mega Championship. For now, Omega defended his AAA belt tonight in a hard-fought battle against Andrade.

Eventually, Omega will face Christian Cage and put his AEW World Championship on the line at AEW All Out. This must trouble Omega because Christan got the better of him at AEW Rampage.

It is not clear whether Andrade will challenge Omega for his AAA Championship, but he came really close to grabbing the title from ‘The Cleaner’.
