The world tuned in Saturday Night on PPV as ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson returned to the professional boxing ring against Roy Jones Jr. Everybody had their eyes glued to their screens as Tyson stepped back in the ring after 14 years. Apparently, AEW Superstar, MJF was also watching closely!

The newly joined member of The Inner Circle bought the Tyson-Jones Jr PPV and was waiting for the fight to begin. The half concert, half fight had the likes of Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, French Montana, SAINt JHN, and YG performing.
It seems like the pre-fight blitz was too much for the ‘Salt Of The Earth‘. The nail in the coffin for him was French Montana’s performance. MJF is pretty vocal anyway, so he took to Twitter and vented his frustrations. He fired straight shots at French Montana and even challenged his relevance.
Yes I definitely paid to watch french Montana curse over shitty beats in front of no one while pretending he’s still relevant.
Get to the fight.

The Tyson-Jones Jr. fight ended in a draw after going for eight full rounds. We’re sure MJF must’ve been content with what he saw in the ring, even though he didn’t really appreciate the pre-fight blitz.
Mike Tyson’s unfinished business
Mike Tyson appeared at AEW’s Double Or Nothing PPV earlier this year. On the following episode of Dynamite on TNT, he and Chris Jericho almost came to blows with each other, suggesting a rivalry between the two.

Fans thought something big is definitely coming out of this as Henry Cejudo, Rashad Evans, and Vitor Belfort accompanied Tyson. The Inner Circle accompanied Jericho. Sadly for fans, nothing came out of that face off between two legends of their respective sports.
It was announced in July this year that Iron Mike would return to the boxing ring against Roy Jones Jr. This fight could very well be the reason nothing came out of the face off with Chris Jericho. Imagine, if the talks for Tyson’s exhibition fight wouldn’t have gone through, we certainly would have seen him feuding against ‘Le Champion’ Chris Jericho in AEW.
