At AEW Revolution, six men will face off in a ladder match for a future TNT Title shot. Former champion, Cody Rhodes, Scorpio Sky, Lance Archer, Pentagon Jr, Max Caster have been announced for the match, but one spot is still open. AEW’s next big signing will be the one to fill that spot, and that man might be Christian.

On Dynamite, Paul Wight, aka the Big Show, revealed that a Hall of Fame worthy talent is coming to AEW. AEW CEO Tony Khan also confirmed on the AEW Unrestricted podcast that this signing is going to be ‘huge’.

According to fans, the sixth man in the ladder match is going to be Christian. The former World Heavyweight Champion returned to the WWE at the Royal Rumble, but that might be a one-off appearance.

According to Wrestling INC, Christian was not under a contract from WWE, but FOX. The contract with FOX has ended, allowing Captain Charisma to ply his trade elsewhere. AEW might be the perfect place for the former World Champion to end his storied career.

His best friend, Edge, has already been inducted into the Hall of Fame. By potentially going to AEW, Christian will sour his relationship with Vince McMahon and the WWE. However, the chance to continue his career as AEW’s next big star might trump the desire to enter the Hall of Fame.

Tony Khan claimed the superstar to show up at Revolution will sign a multi-year deal with the company. Paul Wight called this man a Hall of Fame worthy talent. All signs pointed towards Brock Lesnar or CM Punk, but these seem too far-fetched.

With the news about Christian’s contract falling through, he is a safe bet. Along with him, former WWE star Mark Henry might be the one coming to Jacksonville. The former World Champion expressed his desire to wrestle once again, and with his friend Big Show in AEW, Henry might follow suit.
