This was probably the most awaited match of the card. Both the men knew whoever wins, would be at the very top of the roster. Therefore, they put everything on the line.

The match started with chops, jabs, and punches. However, when Don Callis intervened, Omega found the time to dominate the match, considering the referee was distracted.

Following this, Adam Page tried desperately to put Kenny Omega down, but failed. Finally, Omega tried to defeat Page with a kick to the face, but it was retaliated with a Buckshot Lariat. Next, Omega tried the One-Winged Angel, but Page managed to turn that around as well.

Adam Page hit two Buckshot Lariats to secure the win.

Adam Page defeated Kenny Omega to become the new AEW World Champion.

CM Punk vs Eddie Kingston

This was more of a fight than a wrestling match. Even before the match started, Kingston dropped Punk with a spinning back fist. However, when the match did begin, both pro-wrestlers took multiple shots at each other, especially punches.

Moreover, Kingston took the match a level-up when he busted open CM Punk. This is when Punk tried to reduce the pace of the match, but it backfired as Eddie Kingston became more aggressive.

Finally, Punk took over the match and executed a Go To Sleep on Eddie Kingston for the win.

CM Punk defeated Eddie Kingston via pinfall.

Bryan Danielson vs Miro (AEW World Championship Tournament Finals)

This was a match of strength vs speed. While Miro is a much bigger man than Danielson, the latter has speed.

The match between them at AEW Full Gear began with Miro showing his dominance over Danielson. To retaliate, Danielson attacked Miro’s neck, his weak spot, but this did not keep the behemoth down.

Throughout the entire match, Bryan Danielson and Miro countered each other’s moves, trying to get ahead in the game. If Miro was absorbing Danielson’s kicks, Danielson was continuously finding ways to break free of Miro’s holds.

Finally, the ending played off on Miro’s weak neck when Danielson put him in The Guillotine Hold, becoming the number one contender for the world title.

Bryan Danielson defeated Miro via pinfall.

Dr. Britt Baker vs Tay Conti (AEW Women’s Championship)

With the championship on the line, Dr. Britt Baker knew what she had to do to retain the title – destroy Tay Conti. However, Conti had other plans.

Not only did Conti resort to mind games, but also tried to attack Baker’s weak arm. But, the champion did not want to waste time with many mind games, and attacked Conti with full-force.

Throughout the match, the women showed immense power and domination but only one can be the winner. Finally, Baker tried to execute the Lockjaw on Conti, who countered it with an attempted pin. But, Baker got the best of her at AEW Full Gear with a successful pinfall.

Dr. Britt Baker defeated Tay Conti via pinfall and retained the title.

MJF vs Darby Allin

MJF wanted to prove his claim that technical wrestling is the difference between him and Allin, but Allin was having none of it.

From the very beginning, both pro-wrestlers executed some of the biggest moves on each other. For example, Allin had MJF locked in the Figure Four, while MJF executed a piledriver on Allin.

There was a point when Wardlow and Shawn Spears tried to intervene, but Sting took care of them.

Finally, MJF tried to get a DQ win at AEW Full Gear when he handed Darby Allin his skateboard and hyped him to take a shot at MJF.

However, while Allin was handing the skateboard to the referee, MJF put on his diamond ring and knocked out Allin.
