Fans all over the world are overjoyed, as Shaun White has qualified for the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022. Quite commendably, this will be Shaun White’s 5th Olympic appearance.

Fans, family, and friends have showered White with love after his official qualification. Notably, among all his well-wishers, one clearly stood out.

What does this fan have to say about White’s qualification?

Shaun White has made the official announcement that this will his last Olympic appearance. The 35-year-old has made it to the US Olympic Team, after coming 3rd at the LAAX Open. Ecstatic, White took to his social media to announce the great news.

Among all those who flooded his social media with praise, one special wish came from ‘Breaking Bad’ star Aaron Paul. Paul is famous for playing the role of “Jesse Pinkman”, the drug dealer on the show. While the legendary actor has a massive fanbase of his own, turns out, he himself is a fan of Shaun White.

“So damn epic man!” commented Paul, congratulating White for making the team.

He also mentioned how White was an absolute legend. Clearly, the actor is excited for White as he is waiting eagerly to watch him perform on the big stage.

“Can’t wait to see what you throw at all of us. Absolute legend,” Paul added.

Not only Aaron Paul, several other significant personalities wished White luck, and mentioned how happy and excited they were for him. “That 70’s Show” star Wilmer Valderrama, also commented on the post, taking a very subtle dig at other athletes who will be facing White.

“I’m this very moment, all boarders heading to the Olympics looking at this picture are all saying “OH FAAA**K, This might be a quick trip mom,” commented Valderrama.

Looks like both these actors are big Shaun White fans and are confident of his win. Even though White will actually be going as an underdog this season, we hope that White grabs a 4th Olympic medal.

Shaun White, the most experienced but an underdog, at the same time

The final US Team was announced on January 21st by the officials. 35-year-old Shaun White grabbed his rightful spot on the team and will head to Beijing next month. This was quite a surprise as, until very recently, his qualification was still in doubt.

White will be one of the 4 defending gold medalists, along with Chloe Kim, Jamie Anderson, and Red Gerard. Notably, Shaun White is the oldest ever US Halfpiper named to the team. He is also the most experienced.

However, a lot of young players pose a dominant threat to White now. Gunning with youthful energy, they are better equipped and have a dozen tricks to show off. This means that White will actually be the underdog this season.
