In today’s bodybuilding era, the desire to show off a well-defined midsection and have visible abs has greatly intensified. However, only a handful of builders truly understand the effective methods for developing abs. And who is better than the renowned coach who has produced numerous Mr. Olympia champions to educate people on the science behind achieving visible abs?
Hany Rambod, the experienced coach, recently shared valuable insights on the proper approach to developing abs. The Popular Instagram page of Evogen Nutrition recently posted a picture of renowned bodybuilding coach Hany Rambod. In the video, the senior bodybuilding coach shattered a widespread misconception about the science behind the strong core.
Hany Rambod breaks the myth
In the video, Rambod challenged the common belief by stating that abs are not formed solely in the gym. Many people dedicate hours to intense core exercises, hoping they will make their abs visible. However, Rambod disagrees. He highlighted the significance of nutrition and cardio in reducing body fat, unveiling the actual secret to achieving those desired abs. Rambod emphasizes that abs are similar to other muscles, and their visibility depends on the amount of body fat. He explains that no matter how hard someone trains their abs, they will stay hidden if there’s a high percentage of body fat. According to Rambod, the key is to reveal these abs by reducing body fat through a calorie deficit.
He explained that while exercise and strength training play essential roles in overall fitness and muscle development, they alone cannot bring out the abs. Rambod advised his fans to first work on shredding down the excessive fat and then focus on the exercise. However, his insights went beyond the concept of calorie deficit.
Rambod’s plan for abs workout
Alongside the emphasis on the significance of nutrition and cardio exercises, the experienced coach provided valuable workout strategies to his audience. After individuals have successfully created a calorie deficit and reduced their body fat percentage, Rambod recommends incorporating targeted exercises that focus directly on the abs.
