Sony has confirmed that Godfall is going to be a PlayStation 5 exclusive for the first 6 months. The game’s launch trailer, which released a short while ago, confirmed the window of its PlayStation 5 exclusivity, which will end on May 21, 2021.
Godfall, developed by Counterplay Games, was the first PS5 game to be announced in 2019. Apart from PlayStation 5, only PC players can enjoy the game on the launch date. PC players can purchase the game from Epic Games Store.

Counterplay had previously mentioned they were developing the game for ‘next-gen’ consoles. Some presumed this meant an Xbox release was also on the cards. Now we have confirmation that Xbox players have to wait a minimum of six months to get their hands on the Gearbox title.
Keith Lee addressed the PS5 audience through a blog yesterday, talking about how to get ready for Godfall with the launch inching closer.
“We hope you are ready to fight through the challenges — and earn rewards — as you save the world of Aperion. Our passionate team is so thankful for all the support and encouragement we’ve already received. We have been working tirelessly to create a beautiful world for you to explore, as well as creating an engaging experience filled with lots of combat and, of course, loot to collect.”

“The character screen helps you understand your build at a glance. On the far right, you can see your overall stats and primary attributes. Might tracks your standard attack damage, Spirit increases ability damage, and Vitality represents your overall health. You will also see additional information like your chance at a critical strike, etc.”
The loadout is divided into eight different parts to gear up your character. They will contain two weapons, one charm, one amulet, two rings, one lifestone, and a banner.
