A Cult-Classic Xbox Game Might Be Revealed at Gamescom 2021

Gamescom 2021 is around the corner and there’s a lot to talk about. A brand new Saint Row game is rumored to get an announcement at Gamescom 2021. It’s been a long wait indeed, as the first Saint Row was released way back in 2005. If the rumors are to be believed, the new game will be an exciting one.

Earlier in 2019, the studio was reported to be in deep development and was waiting for just the perfect moment to give fans glimpses of the upcoming adventure. Now, the ideal moment is right here as what’s better than Gamescom 2021 to announce such an awaited title. However, nothing has been officially announced yet.

Finally, Saint Row is back

The new reveal makes sense because it was absent in this year’s E3. Many people were quite disappointed back then when Volition didn’t appear at the grand event.

Now, Okami Games, a well-known insider, gave this leak on Twitter that the Saint Row 5 is finally getting an update this month. In further replies, they highlighted that Gamescom 2021 is where this final grand announcement will happen.

According to the tweet, the game is also getting a reboot, however; it is not clear how the reboot will actually be, but other recent leaks suggest that it is definitely going to be something huge.

Rumors also suggest that the Saint Row 5 will be the sequel to The Third, which is quite interesting, to be honest. It certainly looks like 2021 is the ultimate year for all the Saint Row games to finally get awarded with the long-awaited update on the brand new Saint Row 5.
