We are at the business end of the Tokyo Olympics 2020. And it’s been an exceptional experience for all the sport-loving fans around the world. Moreover, credit to all the athletes who participated in this prestigious event even during these tough times. And recently, the legendary golfer Gary Player tweeted a video showing his Olympic skills.

Gary Player was one of the best golfers of his generation. He has won 9 major championships in his career with 24 PGA Tour wins. And since he has retired, Player has always been supportive towards the younger generation and loves every sport and not just golf.

Gary Player shows off his Olympic skills

Gary Player recently posted a video on Twitter where he was showing off his skills for the Olympics.

He said,?“Going for gold! When the games were postponed last year, I was inspired to mix up my workouts and incorporate Olympics-inspired activity (was hoping I may get a late call-up). On a serious note, these Olympians are incredible. What has been your favorite event to watch thus far?”

He included a few Olympic-inspired activities in his workout, like diving, sprinting, and some powerful leg workouts. And then jokingly added a caption saying he was hoping for a late call-up this time. But he concluded by appreciating the hard work that these Olympians put in.??

Firstly, the 85-year-old South African was seen diving in a swimming pool with a backflip. And then he was pushing weights with his leg in the gym. And finally, he had a nice sprint to show that even at the age of 85, he still has a lot of firepower in him.

It is astonishing to see how Gary Player, even at the age of 85, can do all these incredible activities which even a few youngsters cannot do. And hopefully, he can continue doing all these things for a lot more years to come.
