The former World No. 5 Eugenie Bouchard answered a couple of questions about her life lately. While responding to a number of rapid-fire questions, the Canadian star spoke about some of the things she likes. Most fans are quite aware of Bouchard’s lavish lifestyle, but some of the things Genie said in the interview will come as a surprise.
Fans know that Bouchard has a great fashion sense. If not in tennis, she could surely have a great career in movies because of her splendid looks. Based on this, one of the questions was which movie really made the 26-year-old cry. “The Fault in our Stars,” replied Bouchard.

The 2014 Wimbledon runner-up didn’t stop there, but also answered another intriguing question. She was asked if there ever was a situation where a movie was made on her, who would she like playing her part? “Blake Lively,” answered Bouchard with a laugh.
The Canadian also talked about the sport that she was most proficient at after tennis and said her choice was basketball.

Eugenie Bouchard in 2020
Bouchard didn’t actually have a great season in 2020. She could not find her momentum and compete with her full strength. Firstly, she could not even get past the qualifiers at the Australian Open 2020. She gave a tough fight to her opponents at the Prague Open 2020, but lost in the quarters.
The Istanbul Open 2020 was the only tournament where she looked in great form. She ended up as the runner-up at the tournament, losing to Patricia Maria Tig in the finals. At the French Open 2020, she looked great until she faced Iga Swiatek in the third round. Swiatek defeated her in straight sets and went on to lift the title.

Bouchard injured herself at an ITF event qualifier that ended her 2020 season. What was even worse was that she ended the year at the 141st spot in the WTA rankings.
Bouchard will certainly try to improve her performances in 2021 and be more consistent. Fans surely have really high expectations from her. Will the Canadian bounce back in 2021?
