Hacker infestation has always been a major issue in multiplayer titles. Sadly, it has grown unbearable in recent times because of the current pandemic situation that has forced the format of official championships and tournaments to go online. The use of aimbots, auto-strafe, auto-locks, etc. run rampant even in the official competitive circuit. Fortnite is no exception. Although Epic Games has been really vigilant about this issue, a number of cheaters and hackers still prevail in the game.

10 Fortnite hackers who stole the show in return for their competitive integrity

NYYANKEE798

TSM Myth encountered this player in a match who reminded us of the old school cheats from Grand Theft Auto. NYYANKEE798 somehow used cheats to drive an Apache Speed Boat at Woodworks. If you are familiar with the game, you would know that Woodwork literally does not feature any water body whatsoever. Reverse “Waterways”, much?

Hate hackers all you want, but you have got to admit, this player has got style. There is nothing very unorthodox in his hack, though. He uses a simple aimbot, but it is more of how he does it. This player roamed around the map on his surfboard and used aimbots to grab kills. We could almost hear Eazy-E playing in the background as he smoothly rolled around the map. The player went on to grab 44 kills in that match.

This hacker used a cheat to glide/hover/fly (?) instead of walking, along with using the aimbot. As a result, the gameplay ended up looking like the reason why Batman is paranoid about Superman. Homelander, anyone?

The endless building hackers from Fortnite Season 1

Yes, the name is pretty self-explanatory. So, these hackers had the ability to keep building structures endlessly. Players used this hack to create anything from mazes to castles in order to either escape from their opponents or trap. You do not need us to tell you what big of a nightmare these hackers had become. We sure are glad Epic’s updated anti-cheat system made them obsolete.

Once again, this one is a hacker who reminds us of Grand Theft Auto. Oliver used the aimbot flying feature and used his vehicle to hover around the map and get kills. He went on to get 42 kills in one particular match.

Epic Games have stepped up their anti-cheat systems to curb the amount of cheating in the game. But it still has a long way to go. However, it is still in a better position compared to Call of Duty: Warzone and other games out there.
