Halo: Infinite has generated a lot of buzz ever since the game’s announcement last year. The iconic Xbox franchise will return for the first time in six years following the release of Halo 5: Guardians in 2015. Over the course of the past six months, the developers at 343 Industries have revealed several features that will arrive this year. This mainly revolved around the multiplayer experience of the title.
However, the developers recently gave some bad news that fans wouldn’t like at all. The game initially had a delay following the horrible reception to the game’s announcement. Halo Infinite to arrive with no co-op campaign at launch
The Halo franchise has made a name for itself by having one of the best story-based experience for fans. Players can play it alone and have the time of their lives. However, the feeling of playing co-op with friends and family is unmatched in the community. However this year, it seems like fans will have to wait some time as this feature won’t arrive during the launch of Halo: Infinite.
The developers at 343 Industries announced this decision in the recent Development Update video for the month of August. In this video, Halo: Infinite Head of Creative Joseph Staten revealed that the developers want to provide the best quality for fans to experience. So, they will be working on it a bit more, and the feature will receive a delay unfortunately. However, he has stated that the team at 343 Industries have plans to release co-op campaign during the game’s Season 2 which will arrive three months after launch.

Forge delayed as well
Staten also mentioned that fan-favorite mode Forge will also receive a delay as well, and it won’t release during launch. He said that this feature also requires some tweaks, and the developers will be working on it to improve the quality. Unlike co-op campaign, Forge will won’t arrive during Season 2, and players might have to wait another three months for Season 3. This means that fans will have to wait more than six months to customize and play in Halo: Infinite.
