Former Laker Star Reminisces about Legendary Kobe Shoes

NBA champion and Former Laker Kyle Kuzma had the pleasure of having a Kobe Prorto 4 made specifically for him. Although the Kobe 4’s were initially launched in 2008, they were an enormous step in the development of performance-oriented basketball shoes. Mamba partnered with the designed Eric Avar for these sneakers. Meanwhile, an Audi TT Roadster served as inspiration for its look. Thereafter, the shoe Kuzma wore many iterations of the 4’s during his stint in the Lakers.
Kuz recently shared this unique piece of sneaker history in a recent Instagram story with the caption, “I HAD THE COOLEST KOBE 4 PE’s”. Mamba Kicks, a page dedicated to Kobe sneaker news, shared the initial post. While also tagging Kyle Kuzma in the photograph. This comes approximately 30 days after Nike Launched the Kobe 8 Protro “Halo” in Mamba’s honor. Vanessa Bryant partnered with Nike to make these shoes. Furthermore, the billion-dollar company has announced that the sneakers would be an annual release.

Kyle Kuzma’s $100 Million extension with the Wizards
Earlier this year, Kuzma resigned with his current franchise, the Washington Wizards. Initially, Kuz opted out of his $13 million player option and entered free agency. However, subsequently, he inked a $104 Million four-year extension with the Washington.
