This weekend, Formula One reaches a milestone of achieving its 1000th F1 race. The venue for the 1000th running is the Shanghai International circuit. So, to commemorate the 1000th F1 race, we’ve turned back the clock to two years ago in in China itself.
During the race, Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas was in his second race for the team. Unfortunately, he spun off but managed to recover to begin the fight back up the order.
Then, the Finn came across Haas‘ Kevin Magnussen and made short work of him. Then, the next target was Racing Point’s Sergio Perez. The team was called Force India at the time but now race under the Racing Point banner.

Apparently Force India were not in the mood as they had other problems to deal with.
