In 2020, Sargeant left Carlin to race with Prema Racing, where he met his former F4 rival Oscar Piastri. Notably, Piastri was also picked up by McLaren to race alongside Lando Norris for the 2023 F1 season.

During his F3 stint, Sargeant got his first victory with Prema after three podiums. Ultimately, he finished third in the season, one point behind runner-up Théo Pourchaire and four points behind his teammate Piastri.

In 2021, Logan Sargeant made his F2 debut despite deciding to miss out due to financial reasons. The American driver made his debut in F2 in the penultimate round. The following year, in 2022, Sargeant moved to Carlin alongside Liam Lawson. He ended the 2022 F2 season in P4, just a point behind his teammate Lawson.
