He first tweeted about the big game, in which Los Angeles rivals Lakers and Clippers will face each other. He said he was hyped to see both his favorite team, the Lakers and his favorite player, LeBron James return to the court.
I’m so happy that the NBA is back today!! I get to watch my favorite team, the @Lakers, and my favorite player LeBron James with superstar Anthony Davis take on the Clippers duo Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. pic.twitter.com/o31XJ13ALK

Magic Johnson hyped for the battle of the young stars
Johnson later tweeted about the other game, Utah Jazz vs the New Orleans Pelicans. This is the first game of the night, as two teams led by young stars go face to face.
NBA fans don’t forget, the first game will be must-see-TV too with Zion vs Donovan Mitchell!

After leaving the bubble due to an emergency, Zion has returned and is cleared to play as well. It will be coach Alvin gentry’s call now to see if he is fit for the game.
Pelicans F Zion Williamson has cleared quarantine and will return to practice with the team in Orlando this evening, sources tell ESPN.

In an interview yesterday, Zion had mentioned his playing status is not confirmed. He said, “I was gone for 7-8 days with urgent family matters. Been in the room for 4 days. The NBA isn’t something you can jump straight into, especially after stuff like that. So me and my team will look at what’s best and see if I’m ready to go out there.”
The other game will also see a few players missing. The Clippers will be without Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell, and Patrick Beverley. On the other hand, Lakers’ Anthony Davis‘ appearance is also questionable, as he has an eyesore.
But even without these players, we will see the battle for LA feature the King against the Klaw. Like always, they are bound to leave the fans off their seats (or couches), when they face each other.
