Hamilton is widely regarded as Britain’s racing jewel. Tied at a stellar seven-world championship record with Michael Schumacher, the driver has been the most successful Britisher in motorsport.

The Billion Dollar Man was not physically present to celebrate the queen’s 70 years as a monarch. However, the driver’s name popped up during the proceedings. Reportedly, they called Hamilton, “Lewis, the truest, the greatest.” A huge picture of the Britisher spraying champagne was also visible on the back screen.

The concert took place in front of the Buckingham palace and drew attractive crowds. While members of the royal family were present, many renowned artists took to the stage to perform. The line-up included famed singers Diana Ross, Elton John, Rod Stewart, and many others.

While the Monarch did not attend the event herself, she did pre-record a fun segment with Paddington Bear. Notably, the 2-hour event was a huge success and achieved its goal of celebrating the Queen’s time. This also in some capacity included thanking people from various walks of life who’ve helped Britain and the world prosper, including Hamilton himself.

Understandably, the 37-year-old has arguably become a palace favorite with several visits over the years.

He has suffered bad porpoising and still battles to keep the car at the front of the grid. So, can Lewis win Silverstone once again for the home crowd? Or are his best days behind him?
